Decimals and fractions math app for iPhone and iPad

EduMe "Decimals" is the fifth app in the successful serie EduMe education apps. This app is developed for and together with children who are learning the first steps in calculating with decimals. This app explains within 10 steps how to calculate with decimals. The app contains 10 chapters with several instruction pages and in total 26 interactive exercises as well 3 quizzes. The structure of the app is based on a booklet like children use at school. This app is perfect to train tests at school and to exercise at home or school difficult subjects regarding calculating with decimals. The following subjects are explained and trained in this app:

- Difficult additions with decimals
- Subtraction with decimals
- Difficult subtractions with decimals
- Change fractions into decimals

The app contains on the second page an interactive content page where all exercises are visible with color-coding. The white colored exercises needs still to be done. The yellow colored exercises are completed with errors and should be done once again. Finally the green colored exercises are done without mistakes. The goal is to get all the blocks green.

During the construction of this app weve seen that many children love to simply carry briefly sums and this preferably not in the form of game where time plays a big role. Therefore, the exercises are very simple without complicated game elements and without the child is nervous because there is a time constrain.

Youll see, as the exercises progress, the speed of resolving itself goes up. The first exercises will be more focused to learn the sums. When you do more exercises, the exercises focus on solving by yourself. This is the perfect app to practice the sums at school or at home shortly so the learning effort can be divided during the week.

At the end of making an exercise, the errors can be reviewed together with the child. These outcomes are visible immediately after doing the exercise but also later, for example when the app was closed.
